Each municipality has its own unique economy, natural attractions, and community of people. However, 10 of the municipalities partner together to form the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville. The City of Brockville and the Towns of Prescott and Gananoque are separated partners of the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville.

City of Brockville
The City of Brockville is the area's largest municipality. It is the economic and cultural centre for all of Leeds & Grenville. Brockville is host to many festivals, events and fun activities. The City hosts the Celtic Festival, the Multicultural Festival, Riverfest, Ribfest, Automotion, and the 1000 Islands Poker Run. Their events attract over 400,000 people to the region every year.
Town of Gananoque
There is plenty to do and see in Gananoque which is known as the "Canadian Gateway to the 1000 Islands." It is a friendly town and a wonderful place to live and visit. There is plenty to do in Gananoque including kayaking, fishing, hiking, and golfing. You can also take boat cruises, watch live theatre, and enjoy the beach.
Prescott is a historical city and celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2010. The town's waterfront attracts visitors every year who marvel at the lovely harbour. You can enjoy golfing, tennis, lawn bowling, hockey, swimming and other sports in Prescott and there are over 120 shops and services in the historic downtown.
